Job Summary:
Creates visual communications to convey messages in an effective and aesthetically pleasing manner. Designing and editing brochures, logos, signs, books, print items, advertisements, and other marketing materials. Knowledge of type size and style to enhance the readability of text and image, produces drafts for review by clients and makes revisions based on the feedback received, reviews final productions for errors, makes sure files are print ready, and ensures that final prints reflect client specifications.

Required:
- Must work in Augusta, GA
- Portfolio required (digital or online samples)
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university (preferably in creative, design, advertising or related field)
- Minimum 7 years of experience working in as a designer
- Minimum 7 years of experience with Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Illustrator, Photoshop & Indesign for Mac)
- Must possess great computer skills in 100% Mac environment
Skill Set:
- Experience and up to date with industry leading software and technologies (InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop for Mac, etc)
- A knowledge of both typography and color theory is critical
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects at one time
- Very skilled at content design
- Keen eye for the smallest details
- Creative self-starter who works well on deadlines in a very fast-paced environment
- Proven creative design experience
- Possession of artistic flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality
- Excellent writing, language, and communication skills
